Overview
Totalkannada.com would like to focus on all aspects of Kannada. May it be
Kannada’s glory, may it be Kannada’s problems or achievements or significant
events. Just about everything!
We would
like to make our life— “Total Kannada”! Definitely, our blood should first
contain “Humanity” and then of course we should love our country, our
culture, our religion, our tradition, etc! But, let us also give respect to
a tool which has made us all to communicate and also has brought us
together. We should feel proud to call ourselves as “Total Kannada
People”! Don’t we??? Yes, anyone shall be a part of this group and anyone
is free to interact with this website!!!
Totalkannada.com was launched in 2001 and since then, we are trying hard to
make improvements with every day.
Totalkannada.com is a regularly updated website with the prime attraction
being online Kannada VCD/DVD sale, for which we have been receiving plenty
of responses! We have plenty of good collections in our stock and
interested readers can always check out our "TotalKannada
Shopping Section"
Totalkannada.com appears like comprised of many film-related topics! That’s
partly because we believe in films changing the status of an Indian
language, as it is evident under the current scenario. “Sandalwood Arena”
column covers all film-related stuffs such as Cinema News & Views (a weekly
news package about our film-industry activities), film reviews, general
articles, interviews, etc!
However, we
would like to cover other fields also. “Bareyuve
Ninagaagi” is dedicated totally for Kannada
writings such as poems, stories, etc. We accept good writings from even our
readers!
“Haegidhe
Kannada? Haegidhe Karnataka” column focuses on
the articles, awareness, information, history, heritage, etc, of our land &
language.
“Just
Thamashe” & "Ruchi Ruchi Recipe" columns should be a good stress-reliever.
We would
continue to constantly improve on the coverage of this website. If there is
any scope for improvement, we would wishfully consider all your suggestions.
Many-many
things to be added with time. Just keep in touch with us! Also, we need
your support to make it happen!
And the way
we are different from the rest is… we don’t
highlight any news which is not significant for a
Kannadiga (For e.g., the death of a small film actor from other
language). Unlike other media, we would not write anything about
non-Kannada films. We support only Kannada cultural programs and not
any club-shows or alien activities… This is TOTALKANNADA for you…
